Divine Speech: 1st Part

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Last Summer 2014, on the 20th June, Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan (NAK) came to Masjid Besi Putrajaya to give a talk on "Divine Speech".

Last 2 years, I wrote about the most important surah in the Quran, the surah we recite each rakaah in every prayer. Suratul Fatihah.

Last week, I back up all the notes in my previous phone, sent it to my current phone using whatsapp and there are a lot of valuable notes. This note on NAK talk about Suratul Fatihah is very beneficial to me.

Always Seek Knowledge

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

As mentioned in the previous post, there are 4 characteristics that need to be met in the quest of desiring Allah.

1) Zuhud
2) 'Ilm
3) Tawakkul
4) Yaqin

The next component after zuhud is ilm.  No one reaches Allah with ignorance!!!

Last Winter break, I have been given the chance to watch and listen to Reviving Islamic Spirit (RIS) conference with my PhD senior. This conference involves many Islamic scholar from North America.

So just an hour ago, I came across my notes again and I feel like I want to share it here.

What I want to share is about the quest of desiring Allah.

First Month in The US.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

The Ohio State University

Alhamdulillah.

It's been more than a month staying here in the US. There's a ton of valuable experience that I have gained in this first month. People here are very polite and helpful. The traffics are not as crowd as Malaysia. Pedestrians are prioritised on road. Only tissues are provided in restrooms (no water!).

So I will divide my first post in the US into several categories. Let's start!
