Pain and sin.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Pain receptors are very important. If there are no pain receptors, one will not feel any pain while pain act as defense system to protect our body.

Let's see what is pain and what is the purpose of pain receptors.
Based on Medical Dictionary;

Pain is an unpleasant feeling that is conveyed to the brain by sensory neurons. The discomfort signals actual or potential injury to the body. However, pain is more than a sensation, or the physical awareness of pain; it also includes perception, the subjective interpretation of the discomfort.

Perception gives information on the pain's location, intensity, and something about its nature. The various conscious and unconscious responses to both sensation and perception, including the emotional response, add further definition to the overall concept of pain.

While based on Merriam Webster dictionary on my phone;

Pain is localized physical suffering associated with bodily disorder (as a disease or an injury); also: a basic bodily sensation induced by a noxious stimulus, received by naked nerve endings, characterized by physical discomfort (as pricking, throbbing, or arching), and typically leading to evasive action.

What is the purpose of pain receptors?
A. to warn the body
B. to process visual information
C. to maintain homeostasis
D. to trigger a reflex

I have highlighted two points:
 1. Unpleasant feeling
 2. Leading to evasive action.

That's how a sin receptor should be, when we do sin, we will feel displease and we tend to avoid the sin. This 'sin receptor' will warn us that the sin is dangerous and trigger a reflex to counter the sin with good deeds.

The 'sin receptor' is in our heart. "At-taqwa hahuna".

p/s: It's been 3 months already, this post was in draft, I guess I want to start updating my blog again. Please pray for me.

You've done a good job delivering a clear message. Using an analogy indeed a nice way; an intuitive approach avoiding technicalities early on.

Due to the differences in our writing style (I'd call it as discrepancies, because we deliver messages to educate, different in styles doesn't really matter), I'd like to highlight few stuff.

1. I have the propensity to use subtle humor in my writing, because I don't like my articles look dull.

2. If you were me, you'd be using WordPress instead of Blogspot.

That's all, and I hope I can contribute in time to come, because I love to give contributions.

May Allah ease, and I'd love to read more articles from you frequently. Develop your own style so people will know right away after reading your first paragraph, anywhere.
